Marty Staples
President, CEO and DirectorMarty Staples commenced his role in April 2020 when Topaz hired its initial employees and has been instrumental in Topaz’s accretive acquisition growth strategy which has generated rapid earnings and dividend growth for Topaz shareholders. Mr. Staples has over 20 years' experience in the oil and gas industry in the areas of leadership, management, business development, exploration, land and evaluations. Previously, Mr. Staples spent ten years and played an integral role in the growth and development of Tourmaline Oil Corp., including the execution of $3.7 billion in cumulative asset and corporate acquisitions. Prior thereto, Mr. Staples held positions at both private and public companies. Mr. Staples holds a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce from the Haskayne School of Business at the University of Calgary.
Cheree Stephenson
VP Finance & CFOCheree Stephenson commenced her role in April 2020 when Topaz hired its initial employees and has been integral through Topaz’s start up, transition to a public company and execution of strategic M&A which has generated rapid earnings and dividend growth for Topaz shareholders. Ms. Stephenson has over 20 years' experience in the oil and gas industry in the areas of executive leadership, corporate finance and public company financial reporting. Ms. Stephenson's previous industry experience includes 10 years as Vice President, Finance and Chief Financial Officer of a public Canadian energy company and prior thereto, finance roles at other public and private energy companies and public accounting roles at Ernst & Young LLP. Ms. Stephenson is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA, CA) and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce from the Haskayne School of Business at the University of Calgary.

Mike Rose
Mr. Rose's principal occupation is the Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of Tourmaline since he founded the Company in August 2008. Prior thereto, he was Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of Duvernay, a publicly traded oil and gas company (2004- 2008). Mr. Rose has held various exploration and production positions, including managing exploration and petroleum engineering research for a large exploration and production company before founding Berkley in 1993. After the sale of Berkley in 2001, Mr. Rose founded Duvernay, which was sold in August 2008. Mr. Rose was educated at Queen's University, graduating with an honours degree in Geology. Mr. Rose is a member of the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta and the Canadian Society of Petroleum Geologists. Among other awards, Mr. Rose is the recipient of the Stanley Slipper Gold Medal from the Canadian Society of Petroleum Geologists (2009). Mr. Rose has over 44 years of experience in the oil and gas industry.
Tanya Causgrove
Ms. Causgrove's principal occupation is Chief Financial Officer and Managing Director of ARC Financial. Ms. Causgrove is a member of ARC Financial's Executive Committee. Ms. Causgrove leads ARC Financial's finance, accounting, tax, human resources, regulatory, technology and administrative functions and works closely with the investment team and investors. Ms. Causgrove currently represents ARC Financial on the board of Cygnet Energy Ltd. and holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting from the University of Alberta, is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA, CA) and is a CFA Charterholder. Ms. Causgrove has more than 24 years of management experience in the energy industry.
Jim Davidson
Mr. Davidson's principal occupation is a Corporate Director. Mr. Davidson co-founded FirstEnergy Capital Corp. in 1993 which became the world’s premier choice for energy sector investment banking. Subsequently, Mr. Davidson was the Deputy Chairman of GMP First Energy, Canada’s leading energy-focused investment bank from which he retired from his role in 2018. Mr. Davidson is a director of ATB Financial, the Business Council of Alberta, the Creative Destruction Lab, the Economic Futures Council of Junior Achievement, the Fraser Institute and the Modern Miracle Network. Mr. Davidson was most recently Deputy Chairman of GMP FirstEnergy. Mr. Davidson holds a Bachelor of Environmental Studies from the University of Waterloo and has earned the Institute of Corporate Directors (ICD.D) designation. Mr. Davidson has more than 41 years of experience providing investment banking and financial services to a broad spectrum of companies in a variety of industries, most notably in the energy sector. In 2016 Mr. Davidson was inducted into the IIAC Investment Industry Hall of Fame and awarded a "Lifetime Achievement Award" by the Oil & Gas Council. Jim is also a recipient of the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal by the Governor General of Canada.

John Gordon
Mr. Gordon's principal occupation is a Corporate Director. Mr. Gordon served as the Canadian Managing Partner, Quality and Risk Management, the Canadian Managing Partner, Audit and the Calgary Office Managing Partner for KPMG LLP prior to his retirement in 2018. Mr. Gordon has extensive experience in providing audit and other services to public oil and gas companies and overseeing risk management for KPMG LLP in addition to undertaking business development for the Calgary office of KPMG LLP. Mr. Gordon serves on the Board of Cardinal Energy Ltd., a Canadian public oil and gas company. Mr. Gordon also serves on the Board of the CAMH Foundation, the Alberta Adolescent Recovery Centre, and is an active member of the Institute of Corporate Directors. Mr. Gordon has earned the Institute of Corporate Directors (ICD.D) designation, is a Chartered Professional Accountant (FCPA), a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), and is a graduate of the University of Saskatchewan. Mr. Gordon has more than 31 years of experience providing assurance and advisory services to a broad spectrum of companies in a variety of industries, most notably in the energy sector.
Darlene Harris
Ms. Harris’ principal occupation is a Corporate Director. She is currently a director of the Connect First Credit Union where she serves on the Audit Committee and Risk Committee. Most recently, Ms. Harris was Co-Chair of the Shell Canada Pension Plan and a director of the Spark Credit Union. Overall, Ms. Harris spent 32 years with Shell Canada in a number of senior positions including Senior Manager, Mergers, Acquisitions and Corporate Finance; Manager, Shell Canada Pension Plan; and Assistant Treasurer.  During Ms. Harris’ tenure at Shell Canada, Ms. Harris was responsible for operational risk management at the country level (Canada) for a multi-national energy company. Ms. Harris has a broad range of experience in the oil and gas industry, including strategic acquisitions and divestments, capital markets, risk management, pension management, treasury, corporate governance, and talent management. Ms. Harris is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA, CMA) and an active member of the Institute of Corporate Directors (ICD).
Steve Larke
Mr. Larke's principal occupation is a Corporate Director. Mr. Larke is a director of Vermilion Energy Inc. and Headwater Exploration Inc. Mr. Larke's previous roles include Operating Partner and Advisory Board member with Azimuth Capital Management Inc., an energy-focused private equity fund based in Calgary, Alberta. Prior to joining Azimuth Capital Management Inc., Mr. Larke was Managing Director and Executive Committee member with Calgary-based Peters & Co. from 2005 to 2015, and prior thereto, was Vice-President and Director with TD Newcrest from 1997 to 2005. Both at Peters & Co. and TD Newcrest, Mr. Larke received leading rankings in the Brendan Wood International survey of institutional investors. Mr. Larke has a Bachelor of Commerce degree (with distinction) from the University of Calgary and has earned the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and Institute of Corporate Directors (ICD.D) designations. In addition, Mr. Larke is a Fundamentals of Sustainability Accounting (FSA) Credential Holder. Mr. Larke has over 21 years of experience in energy capital markets, including research, sales, trading and equity finance.

Brian Robinson
Mr. Robinson's principal occupation is a director and Vice President, Finance and Chief Financial Officer of Tourmaline. Prior thereto, Mr. Robinson was Vice President, Finance and Chief Financial Officer of Duvernay and prior to that was Vice President, Finance and Chief Financial Officer of Berkley. Previously, Mr. Robinson held numerous positions in finance and accounting with intermediate and senior oil and gas companies, commencing his career with a large public accounting firm. Mr. Robinson is also a trustee of Boardwalk Real Estate Investment Trust, a publicly-traded real estate investment trust on the TSX. Mr. Robinson holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Calgary and is a Chartered Accountant. Mr. Robinson has more than 41 years of experience in the oil and gas industry in the disciplines of executive leadership, finance, financial reporting, budgeting, accounting, risk management, treasury, tax, and business development.
